Pairing the SolusGuard Wearable Panic Button (WPB) is initialized from the SolusGuard Mobile Application (the App). If you cannot access the App, log into the App or see the Panic Button Service in the App, reach out to your account administrator, or directly to SolusGuard for assistance. A change to your account may need to be applied.
Pro Tip: The WPB must be in pairing mode in order to initialize the pairing process. When in pairing mode, you'll see periodic blue and orange blinks from the LED light indicator. If you do not see the periodic blue and orange blinks, you must first perform a factory reset on the WPB.
To Pair the WPB:
1. Enter the App and tap "Pair my Device"
2. Tap "Begin Pairing"
3. When the app finds the device, tap the forward arrow.
4a. If using an iPhone, head to your Bluetooth settings and find "SolusGuard" as an available Bluetooth device. Tap "SolusGuard", enter the pairing pin (1234) and then tap "pair". Head back to the App.
Pro Tip: On iPhone, the SolusGuard connection listed in your Bluetooth settings will only say "Connected" for a few seconds before switching to "Not Connected". This is not an issue and is actually supposed to say "Not Connected" going forward.
4b. If using an Android phone, wait for the app to ask you to enter the pairing pin (1234), enter the pin, and tap "pair".
5. After a short period you'll be asked to perform a test button press. Click the button right where the LED light is on the WPB and wait for the app to carry through to the final step where you are told the pairing is complete.
Once finished pairing, you will land back on your home screen and the blue footer will now contain status information for the WPB. Just note that it can take some time before the battery level of the WPB shows up here.
