How to test your wearable panic button

Test the SolusGuard Wearable Panic Button as often as you need. This will help you familiarize yourself with the alerting process to ensure you are comfortable using the system in case of a real emergency.

Button Test Only

Complete the following steps:

1. Mute or warn your contacts before conducting the test
2. Press the panic button to start an alert
3. Open the SolusGuard mobile app and tap Cancel Alert before the countdown expires

Alert with Contact Response

Complete the following steps:

1. Mute or warn your contacts before conducting the test
2. Press the panic button to start an alert
3. Have your emergency contact open the SolusGuard mobile app and view the active alert (this can be done by tapping the alert notification or by navigating to the Teams screen and tapping on the person who triggered the alert)
4. Have your emergency contact tap Call User
5. Answer the incoming phone call
