The SolusGuard Check-in system is a way for user's to start a timer ("check-in session") that, if allowed to expire, will automatically alert your emergency contacts that they've failed to check-in. The user can enter the app and extend or end the session at any time before the timer expires.
Check-in sessions require an internet connection to start and end, but if the user loses internet during the session, the emergency contacts will still be notified at the end of the timer.
The check-in feature allows user's to enter additional details, such as the intended destination and any other info that would be helpful to responders in an emergency situation. If the timer expires and an alert is sent out, all of this information and the user's GPS location are passed along to the emergency contacts.
